NEWSLETTER: January 2026 Updates - Artworks, Tattoos & Shop Update

Dear friends,

Welcome to the first newsletter of 2026! I’d love to start a new tradition and update you once at the end of every month about what’s been going on in my life and business, share new art, as well as a card of the month from my oracle deck to give you something to work with in the upcoming weeks.

This month we had lots of snow, and I felt like I could finally breathe again. I‘m slowly easing myself back into my practice, and rediscovering joy in my work.

I updated my shop, drew tons of new illustrations, and started a new tattoo project for people with anxiety. Plus I got the coolest gift ever: my partner created a completely handmade Baba Yaga-shrine for me. Even though the world feels like a really scary place right now - the sun is back and the first signs of spring are in the air. If I learned one thing lately it‘s that two things can be true at the same time. I‘m truly grateful to exist and to hold what I have.

ART I CREATED THIS MONTH

This month was really productive: I created a lot of new illustrations and got to ink a few big tattoo pieces as well. I also started to outline two new major projects which I’m not ready to talk about yet. However the fact that I’m in the headspace to consider a new project is a win in itself after the long period of creative burnout I went through.

TATTOOS I INKED THIS MONTH

I got to do a handful of really fun tattoo projects this month. My favorite is of course the Baba Yaga-house which was a custom piece. Creating a big sparrow-tattoo was another highlight, as well as starting a personal tattoo-project called “Angsthasen” (might be roughly translated to “scaredy cats”). This project is for people who suffer from anxiety disorder, and want to adopt a hare (which is linked to fear in German folklore) as a sort of companion tattoo.

SHOP UPDATE

I updated my online shop with a bunch of new prints, as well as a new sticker. I’m still working on opening up shipping to the US again. Not being able to ship there has been a major blow to my business, and I’m hoping to fix this issue soon. You can find the new products on Etsy, as well as on my own website.
