NEWSLETTER: March 2026 Updates - Art & New Oracle Deck

Dear friends,

Spring is finally here! At least that’s what the calendar says. I hope you all had a nice equinox. March has been a strange month. I started working on my second oracle deck’s guidebook and got a good portion of the first draft done when I suddenly got sick, and was unable to work for 1.5 weeks. I’m looking forward to dive deeper into my new deck in the coming weeks.

Keeping up with my mental health has been quite challenging. Building up new habits can be difficult in times of uncertainty. For the month ahead I want to focus on taking life one day at a time and pausing every so often to acknowledge all the good that surrounds me.

ART I CREATED THIS MONTH

I spent most of my working hours writing this month, so there is barely any new artwork to show. As for the artworks I finished there is a new crow illustration (also available as a tattoo design), some new tattoo flash, and one inked design of two hares on a client. I really loved doing this tattoo - symmetry is challenging but really fun.

If you want to get a tattoo from me, I work in a tattoo parlor in Braunschweig, Germany. You can find a selection of available wanna do-designs on my tattoo-Instagram. You can book directly through my website here, or have a look at my tattoo portfolio here.

NEW ORACLE DECK

At the beginning of the month I decided to fully commit to a new oracle deck. I want to write the guidebook first, and then work on the artwork. As with every creative project things aren’t as clear cut as I’d like them to be. So naturally I started to sketch some cards for the new deck, however I am still very much at the beginning of this project.

I want the new deck to have a strong visual language, and while I loved working on my goddesses deck with no color restrictions, I do prefer a coherent and limited color palette for this new project.

The writing of the guidebook is going great at the moment. I have a list of keywords/ themes for each of the 40 cards of the deck, and I’m slowly making my way through writing descriptions for every card. So far I have finished almost 50% of the first draft of the book.

I’m not sure when I want to reveal the theme of the deck. I like to keep the things I work on close to my chest for as long as possible, however I also realize that sharing in progress-works can lead to valuable input and feedback. Fingers crossed I can show you more of the deck very soon (there are some hints here and there on my socials already).

CARD OF THE MONTH

THE MORRÍGAN - DECOMPOSITION

The Morrígan, in the form of a hooded crow, appears in the great battles of Irish myth to provide prophecy for gods and heroes alike. Throughout European folklore, the crow is an animal of great renown.

Crows scavenge corpses on the battlefield. They take what is still useful from the dead body, and transform it into something new.

Imagine yourself in the place of a crow and scavenge the battlefield of your own life. What are you clinging to that you should let go of? What is something that once defined you, but no longer serves you?

The above text is an excerpt from European Goddesses and Spirits Oracle Deck. You can purchase the deck and the companion book on my website or learn more about the oracle here.
